BGC Camrose receives a grant from the Community Services Recovery Fund to create and implement a Fund Development Strategy
Now more than ever, community service organizations, including charities, non-profits and Indigenous governing bodies, play a key role in addressing complex social problems faced by many communities across Canada.
BGC Camrose is no exception. “This much needed funding will help us to revamp our funding raising plan,” explains Rees James, Executive Director. He goes on to say, “We need expand our donor base, establish new fund raising events and in addition to core programming, offer other needed services to children and youth that generate revenue.”
“Our ability to fund raise during the past 3 years has been severely hampered, the Community Services Recovery Fund brings about the opportunity to stabilize our Club,” says James.
