Keystone

  • Keystone is a national leadership development program that provides youth with the knowledge and skills to make positive choices in their lives and make a difference in their Clubs and communities. Throughout the course of the year, Keystone members participate in activities that focus on the following five core areas: Leadership, Teamwork, Healthy Choices, Service to Club and Community, and Learning for Life.
  • Keystone operates in person at the BGC Camrose site:
    • For grades 9 – 12
    • From October through May
    • Regular sessions are on Mondays from 6:00 – 8:00 PM (closed when BRSD schools are closed)
    • Some activities may take place outside of regular Keystone hours. Details are to be determined with member input.
  • Program fee: None
  • Some activities take place offsite. Members may walk or be transported to offsite activities via the BGC Camrose bus (Offsite Activity Agreement required).
    • Members are encouraged to bring their own supper or eat prior to attending if they do not want the supper provided and/or have special dietary needs.
  • Parent/guardian will receive advance notification of scheduled activities.
    • Members are expected to dress appropriately for scheduled activities and the weather. Those who are not dressed appropriately may not be able to participate in a specific activity.
  • Membership is required to access Keystone.
